What do I need to do before putting my caravan in for storage?

What are the terms and conditions of storage?

Please refer to terms and conditions section.

How long is the storage for?

Storage can be for as long as you require.  There are different prices for short and long term storage.

What are the insurance requirements?

You must have your own vehicle insured and provide a copy of this at the time of leaving your caravan / vehicle in for storage

How long is the contract for?

The contract is valid for the length of the storage period.

Can I access my caravan/ vehicle all year round?

Yes

How much notice do I need to give before I pick up my caravan or need access?

Ideally 48 hours is required however we are very flexible and will accommodate whenever possible.

Do you do all year round storage?

Yes and there is a saving of €150 for all year round storage.  We also only charge for 50 weeks of the year instead of 52!

Do you have outdoor storage available?

There is limited space available.

Can I visit the facility before booking in?

Sure that is no problem just give us a call 086 2464170 or email and we will gladly make the time to show you around.

How do I book my place?

a.  Give us a call or send an email and we will arrange a time to meet you.  You are welcome to view our facility before you make any commitments.  If everything is to your satisfaction just let us know when you will be arriving with your caravan or vehicle.  It’s that simple!

b.When you collect your caravan / vehicle just let us know your requirements for the upcoming winter and we will save your place.

How do I pay?

We will accept cash or cheque.  We do not have the facility to accept credit or debit cards or direct debits.

When do I pay?

You pay when you collect your caravan or vehicle.

What ways can I pay?

We accept cash or cheque when you are collecting your vehicle.  We are sure you can appreciate that we cannot release caravans or vehicles without receiving an up to date payment.

Do you have different prices for storing the caravan during the Summer?

No our prices are based on the length of time you wish to store your valued vehicle or caravan.

Do you have any special offers available?

Yes we are currently offering a 10% discount for you and a friend when you both take up storage.  No limits on the length of storage to be taken for the offer to apply.

What do you store?

The facility we have is quite large so we are able to store large:

• Motorhomes,

• boats,

• caravans,

• campervans,

• trailer tents,

• jet skiis,

• trailers,

• vintage cars,

• vintage tractors,

• cars and motorbikes.

If your requirement is not listed here just give us a call or an email and we will see what we can do.

What are the storage facilities like?

• The purpose built indoor facility is 100 X 70 feet with concrete floor, concrete walls, and a 20 X 15 feet electronic roller door complete with separate anti ram barrier.

• The roof is coated in a special anti-drip / anti-condensation barrier.

• The facility is rodent proof and does not have any skylights in order to prevent UV damage.

• A large area (big enough for an articulated lorry to turn in) is in front of the storage facility.  This is kept clear to allow for ease of use and turning.

Is an air pump available to pump the tyres before leaving the facility?

Yes absolutely we would be happy to help.  One will be available free of charge should you need to use it.

Is there a jump start available for my motorhome?

Yes we are happy to offer this service to you free of charge.  This will be done with an electronically safe booster pack.

How safe and secure is the facility?

The facility is concealed and located 200 meters off the road.  The only access to the facility is held by us the owners no other person has a key.  Access is restricted by an electronic door and an anti-ram barrier.  Both are controlled with separate and different keys.  We are currently in the process of installing a 24/7/365 monitored alarm and smoke detectors.  A steel gate is being constructed to further limit access to the site.

Is the facility rodent /pigeon proof?

Yes

Who has access to the facility?

Only the owner, myself, has access to the facility.  No one is employed nor are the keys given out.

Can I store it throughout the Summer?

Sure that is no problem at all.  The rates are the same as for winter storage.

What happens if I want to sell my caravan?

That’s no problem just let us know and arrange a time beforehand and you can bring the potential buyer to the facility.

Are there places to camp nearby?

Yes there are a number of sites nearby.
